Is it possible to create IM groups within Lync that all users can see so that only the group name would show instead of showing all the members of the groups? &nbsp;I found info for group chat rooms with Lync server but don’t think that the chat rooms are quite what I am looking for since I wouldn’t want people to other people’s chats.<br />

&nbsp;It would be nice if we could set up a sort of queue for a group so that just the group name would be shown and maybe even only IM one group member that is online instead of IM’ing every member of the group. &nbsp;Is that possible? &nbsp;Or how would you recommend handling this?<br />

Lync 2010 Groups and Presence

Instant messaging (IM) is a type of online chat that offers real-time text transmission over the Internet. A LAN messenger operates in a similar way over a local area network. More advanced instant messaging can add file transfer, clickable hyperlinks, Voice over IP, or video chat. Non-IM types of chat include multicast transmission, usually referred to as "chat rooms". Office 365 is a group of software plus services subscriptions that provides productivity software and related services to its subscribers. Office 365 allows the use of Microsoft Office apps on Windows and OS X, provides storage space on Microsoft's cloud storage service OneDrive, and grants 60 Skype minutes per month.
