2.  using iPhone and gmail calendar to sync emails and calendar

3. bought a new computer running windows 7 pro, running outlook 2010;
4. after importing the old .pst from the old computer, specifically, chose not import the duplicates;
5.  turned out the emails on outlooks duplicated; calendar on both gmail calendar and outlook calendar duplicated.

6.  now removed the outlook email password from the old computer; turned off.

questions:

1. what is the right way to remove the duplicated emails and calendar entries.
2.  checked the gmail calendar (google calendar i suppose), the mobile device sync is turned off now.
3.  where do i find the info to do it right; i didn't want to mess up the iPhone.
4.  i also bought a new ipad; still in the box and afraid to complicate the problem.
5.  need your help.  thanks.

6.  i have a window laptop, windows desktop, iPhone, ipad(not setup yet). want to
sync so all four will have emails, and calendar, (one copy on each), is it possible.

I have a question....if you have an iPhone and you have Windows 7, and you use Google to Sync, why are you importing pst files?

Ideally, you should use Outlook and iCloud PC Application to accomplish what you want to do.

When it comes to removing duplicates in outlook...

Select the folder for which you want to delete duplicate items.
Click the View tab in the Ribbon, click Change View in the Ribbon, and then click to change the folder view to a table type view. For example, click the List icon.
Right-click a column heading, and then click Field Chooser.
From the list at the top of the Field Chooser, click to select the All <item name> fields .
Drag the Modified field to the table heading.
Verify that the duplicate items have a unique date from the original set of items. If it is unique, click the Modified heading so that the items are sorted by this field.
Click the first item in the set that you want to delete, scroll to the last item in the set that you want to delete, and then click the last item while you hold down the SHIFT key.
Press DELETE to permanently delete all selected items.

With the iPad, as long as you have iCloud, everything will sync to the device once you register it.  I would wait until you get your contacts in order.
