List of open windows not seen in the applications on dock

Hi,

On my mac laptop. Previously when I used to right click on the icons of say safari, or any other appications. I could see a stack of all the files that were opened.

Now I just see three things

Options
Show Recents
Open

this has become very annoying and now I go to Mission control to browse between windows of different applications

Please help me so that I can see the open windows again for each application

since this is a feature change it isn't entirely possible to switch back to how older operating systems handled this before mission control.
What you can try is from the apple menu choose dock preferences and select minimize windows into application icon.  This will allow you to right click on the application icon and choose from a list of available documents or pages.
Hope this helps.
you could also set a hotkey in system preferences for mission control to give you quick access to it.

Well I think the only problem was that I had to reset safari and restart my mac :-)
