Word doc's garbled when printing to Brother HL-2270DW  in RDP session

When my users connect to a remote server using RDP and print a Word document from the remote server, it is all garbled. The server they are remoting to is Windows 2008 R2. Their PC's are Win XP sp3. The local (re-directed) printer is a Brother HL-2700DW, and the users PC's are connected to the printer via ethernet. PDF's from within the remote session print just fine. Also printing all other Word docs when not in a remote session print fine.

Any Ideas?

Make sure that the EXACT driver you use on the XP machine is also installed on the terminal server

Got it! Yes the matching driver(s) were part of the solution. Turns out Brother recommends using their generic PCL5e driver with Terminal server\Citrix sessions. I originally used the installation media that came with the printer. I downloaded the generic driver from Brother's site, installed it on the PC's and the server. Problem solved.
