Hi

Im looking for a way to import a bunch of peoples names into an iphone.  I know there is a concept of a global address book but i dont have an exchange server available.  Im looking for something simple. i.e.  Create a phone list in excel.  Send the file to my iphone.  Boom... there is a new contact group and so when i need to update the info i can just send the same file again.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Sure. If you are willing to spend $2.99, get ExcelContacts from the App store,
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/contacts-excel/id379262343?mt=8

Otherwise, you have to go through iTunes. Save your excel spreadsheet as a CSV file, then open iTunes and the addressbook, select "Import" and load in the contacts from your CSV file.  Once they are imported, you can sync them with the iPhone.
