Show Popup message after asp.net Ajax progress is completed

Trying to figure out by having update panel and update progress in asp.net tag, after successfully saved record by clicking save button, possibly show a black Popup message saying 'saved successful', and it will fade out within 5 seconds, in jquery there's a fadeout function, not really know how to exactly accomplish it,
