Window 2008 Backup

Try to backup the system state on a local disk with Window 2008 Backup tool. However, it returns with the following error, any idea ?

"operation was stopped. Detailed error: A virtual disk support provider for the specified file was not found. "

Hi,

I have come across this before,

The following fixed it for me:

1)    Start Registry Editor.
2)    Visit the following registry key: “HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\FsDepends”
3)    Under the “FsDepends” key, change REG_DWORD value “Start” from “3” to “0”
4)    Restart the computer
