Screen growing dim? Do I need to replace backlight?
Dell Inspiron 1501 (OS- Windows XP Home edition)
I have noticed in recent months the screen is growing dimmer - less light, brightness, contrast etc. I can manage it alright, but I am conscious that the quality of the light (not the definition) is deteriorating.
What tests should I carry out?
I have used a different monitor display and there is no problem with this. It is only with the laptop screen
