I've just 'inherited' a job whereby i have fitted a new laptop. The problem is not relating to the new laptop but the old one. Setting up a new user account worked fine and user can login okay. <br />

There is one issue however in that outlook periodically asks for the users password. My client told me that previously (on a different computer) the issue turned out to be related to the global address book but i have no idea really what that means - they have no further information from their previous IT Provider nor am i able to contact them.<br />

I have tried the obvious restart server/restart outlook/restart client computer and change password - none of these have resolved the issue. These laptops are permanently wired into docking stations and the issue is the same using the built-in NIC or the NIC in the dock. The server is an SBS2008 box with Exchange 2007.<br />
