Hi guys,

we need to get a robust, reliable video conference system, we are currently using Microsoft Live Meeting 2007 with a Polycom 360 degree camera, it works really well, but live meeting does have a 100% connection with mac computers.
We need to upgrade the system to a better one, we are a small non profit providing support to cancer patients and would like to use the system to review cases, so we need to interact with multiple people at the same time and be able to connect different platforms and use powerful share tools.

we are looking between Microsoft Lync and Adobe connect, extra features are a plus.

Maybe CISCO has a better option,

Please advise

WebEx Meeting Center will fit your requirements exactly and works well with Mac. Also they offer good support to make sure it will work with your Polycam camera. The pricing would be comparable with that of Live Meeting and Adobe Connect.

I personally haven't used Microsoft Lync to be able to speak on it, sorry. More often than not, I come across LiveMeeting from Microsoft being used more than Lync.

I also haven't used Connect either and never come up against it. The ones that are common are GoToMeeting, WebEx and somewhat LiveMeeting. Adobe Connect has been trying to years to be a standard in conferencing but still hasn't caught on.

There are also a number of smaller name players in the market but you would probably have compatibility problems with them. WebEx is a Cisco product and GoToMeeting is from Citrix so they have good support online.

I've tried all of them, I had issues with Webex, GoToMeeting seems to be fine, but Live Meeting offered me the 360 degree camera with voice activation, my issue with Live meeting is connectivity across platforms, also i don't want users to download client versions.
