We are currently hiring several new technicians and we want to test them by giving them an infected computer/virtual machine and see how they would fix it/tackle the issue.

Is there a website that keeps malware/virus/trojans/etc for computer professionals for this purpose?

Some advice: be sure the new techs don't connect an infected (virtual) machine to the network for obvious reasons...

you can set some ACL rules against those infected machine IPs not to propogate to entire network.
