Selecting drawer to print from in RPG400 program on Iseries

Hi,
I'm trying to print from different drawers of a Kyocera Taskalfa 300ci depending on the transaction type I'm printing (Invoices from drawer 2, credits from drawer 3 etc.)
using the source drawer parameter makes no difference, it prints from the same drawer regardless if what I enter.
Has anyone had any experience of doing this, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've done this on many, many printers, but not this specific one.  Process is the same:

Make sure printer device or remote outq is configured with the correct MFRTYPMDL:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=nas1ce6b3de9874b47bc862569c1007a1dc0

For this printer it is *HPCOLORLJ or *LEXMARKC750

If printer is configured with the correct MFRTYPMDL, then you'll probably have to create a custom workstation customization object for it (*WSCST object). A workstation customization object is a special system object that contains printer command mapping instructions.

Here are the instructions for creating a custom WSCST object:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=nas1bbf048cc51f9d5b8c1256acd00555574

Remember to use the IBM-supplied *HPCOLORLJ or *LEXMARK750C workstation customization object as your starting object.

Gary,

Thanks very much, I did as you suggested and it worked like a charm.
Sorry for the delay getting back but due to circumstances beyond my control I was only able to test it today.

Thanks again.
