asked on
DFS namespace wrong site referral
hello, i have 2 sites connected thru vpn
site1-DCC
site2-WS
i have enabled replication between the 2 namespaces of each site. and the DCC clients go to the DCC namspace, but then i try to access the WS namespace it sends me to the DCC namespace instead of the local one.
this was working fine, and nothing changed, so im not sure what could have happened.
file replication between the 2 namespacs works ok.
ive tried to force the referal to the clients, and even doing a registry key on the DC to force the clients to use the logonDC location for the namespace referal but nothing seems ro work.
both dc's are 08r2 servers with latest updates.

Do you have two separate Active Directory Sites configured? Are the subnets properly listed for each of the sites?
ASKER
