Why some swf movies have controls and others don't?

I have set up 2 pages, each displaying a different SWF video - using the same embed code, but one shows the video controls at the bottom of the video and one doesn't.

Is that something that needs to be built directly into the flash video itself?

Here are links to the 2 videos:

Any ideas?

The first swf file have the video inside the file
The second one is a program loading the interface and the video

Do you mean that the first video has the video controller code programmed inside the flash movie itself?

it load it the same way you load an image putting an image tag in an html page or the same way you embed a movie in your page. This is a flash "application" with tag
Same thing for the video

But when I take the page that works correctly (steven_manning.html) and JUST replace the .swf file with the new .swf file, the page does NOT show the video controls. Shouldn't the new movie show the video controls if all I did was replace the name of the .swf file?

Here is the code that the good page (steven_manning.html) uses:
<script type="text/javascript">
AC_FL_RunContent( 'codebase',',0,28,0','width','525','height','380','align','middle','src','videos/videoone','quality','high','pluginspage','','movie','videos/videoone' ); //end AC code

How would I need to modify it so that the video control appear for the movie StevenManningFinal2.swf which is also located in the video folder?

the one with the videos control is a program which load :
- the video control
- the video itself

if you replace by only a video (the one which don't have video control) you can't see the video control

if you want to see the same video control ou need to contact author of the swf (the one with the video controls) and ask him to COMPILE you video file (the one without the control) with the video control you want to see.

else another way would be to use a third party flash video player and use it for both video
