Excel 2010 Change Color Palette

Hi Experts,

I am trying to change the fill and line colors in Excel.  Based on something I read, I selected the options shown in the attached image, however, the main color palettes in the Excel banner or the options in graphs have their standards colors, not the ones I created.

How to I alter the color palette?

As instructed above you will first have to create a theme of your custom colors. Click Page Layout, Select Colors in Themes, Select Create New Theme Colors, then Select the colors you wish to use.  Once you have done so you should be able to click on the color palette for fill, text, borders, etc. and theme colors will be shown at the top, with variations followed by standard colors and recent colors.
