ASKER
https://192.168.1.8/owa (ignore cert warning) returns nothing, cannot display web page
nslookup client1.com and client2.com both return the correct ip address on both sites.
nslookup client1.com and client2.com both return the correct ip address on both sites.
Do this after hours as it might down your mail server.
Go into IIS manager on server for client1.com and select default web site. On the right, double-click SSL settings and change the "client certificates" to ignore. Restart IIS and see if that works.

what happens?
Verify you have DNS set up correctly by running nslookup and lookup the client.com and client2.com hostnames. It should return the ip address of each server.
If not, you need to set up host records internally on both DNS servers for both locations.
