Transactional Replication SQL Server 2008 R2 Latency Publisher

We are having an issue with Publisher to Distributer latency. The Publisher is on server A the Distributer and Subscriber is on server B.  Someone advised to try to change the ReadBatchThreshold to a high number. 10000 may be too low and reduce the PollingInterval to 1 second.
 How do I do this?

I am not sure, if it will cause any performance issues (in case the server is busy). So, after modifying it, keep monitoring it for some days\times. Anyway, you can do it by changing the distributor agents. Open SSMS->object explorer->connect to the server->expand replications->right click-> replication monitor-> connect to the distributor->there you can see agents tab, choose the one that belongs to your publication-> right click and modify the properties.

I followed your instructions and dont see where I can change the ReadBatchThreshold to a high number and reduce the PollingInterval to 1 second. When I connect to the server that holds the distributor and subscribers and I right click on replication monitor I do see agents. I have even right clicked on logreader agent and only go to job steps.

Currently I am not nearby my pc. So, I will check and let you know. Till then you can try the command utility for doing it. Here is the link:-
