Hello,
I'm trying to redirect http://mysite.com/blog to http://10.10.10.10.

I'm trying to make it run but I got time to time depending how I change my configuration : 404, 403.12 error.

It seems for me that the IIS do not transform my request.

Here is my rule :
        <rewrite>
            <rules>
				<rule name="Blog" enabled="false" stopProcessing="true">
                    <match url="blog/(.*)" />
                    <action type="Rewrite" url="http://10.10.10.10/{R:1}" logRewrittenUrl="true" />
                    <serverVariables>
                        <set name="HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODING" value="none" />
                    </serverVariables>
                </rule>

Open in new window

any would be very appraciate.

Your blog rule is disabled (enabled=false)

The rule will trigger on any URL that has blog/ in the path.

the problem was not the false / true (I've copied the wrong state :) )

But finally I've found the problem. To get rewrite rule working with "http redirect" you need to install the following extensions :
URL rewrite
Web Farm Framework
ARR
External Cache

some docs can be found here : http://blogs.iis.net/ruslany/archive/2009/04/08/10-url-rewriting-tips-and-tricks.aspx
