Dear experts,

I am trying to remove a caption from the first image of my nivo slide banner. Could you please help me out? Attached goes the image where I highlighted the element I wish to remove.

Thanks in advance,

$(document).ready(function() {
       $(".nivo-caption").replaceWith( $(".nivo-caption").html() );
})

Open in new window

or :
$(document).ready(function() {
       $(".nivo-caption").remove();
})

ok, I am trying to remove it by selecting the node path that contains that caption, but still it does not work:

                   jQuery(document).ready(function() {
                     if (jQuery('a[href*="/node/59"]')){
                        jQuery(this).parent().remove();
                }
            })
