how to set up scan to email on a canon ir 7530
Hello we just get a new copier canon ir 7530 multifunction with universal sent
we are able TO . print ,fax and also scan direct to the computers. on a shared folder
but the owner wants to scan direct to email i tried to configure the
SMPT settings like this
smtp sever : mail.americanprocessingcen ter.com
mail addres: americanprocessingcenter@a mericanpro cesingcent er.com
Auth on SSL
user name : tony@americanprocessincent er.com
pass: ######
allow SMPT Sent
but not succes,, when is sending just get this meesage after 1 minute can not conect
what else shoul i do..?? i need your help please!

hard code smtp server to the ip address. Sounds like DNS is not configured correctly on printer. Also, make sure your auth'ing with SSL is enabled on your mail server, otherwise it will not authenticate correctly.
What type of email system are you using?
If it is Exchange you will need to enable the copier to relay mail through it. If it is Exchange post back the version for further instructions.
If it is a POP provider then you will save yourself a lot of bother by ensuring the sending address has its own account for authorization.
