Publish a Lotus Notes Traveler Server on the Internet

Hello,

I have a Lotus Notes Traveler Server in DMZ with the IP 192.168.1.22 and a Forefront TMG that is the only point to enter or to exit from organization

Also I have a CNAME traveler.apanova-ploiesti.ro with a public IP 82.79.164.140

I would like to access through HTTPS the Lotus Notes Traveler Server so, when I type htpps://traveler.apanova-ploiesti.ro I want to connect to the Lotus Notes Traveler server, IP: 192.168.1.22

I don't know what type of firewall policy must be entered to Forefront TMG to solve the problem exposed above. With HTTP protocol the things works fine but I want to connect trough the https protocol.

Thank you in advance,
Robert

HTTPS uses port 443, so you have to configure your router/firewall to route traffic on port 443 to the Traveler server.
Hi there robert_anisoiu,,,

Actually, In my working place the Firewall, routers etc. and the port 443 as Sjef_bosman mentioned is opened by them .

The thing I would like to ask about is .... Are you able to access the traveler server using any mobile device ???

I hope this URL helps .

Hello akhafaf,

I tried only with Android phones and I access the traveler server with no problem.

I solved also the HTTPS issue by defining a rule in TMG not for a Web Server but for a HTTPS Server.

No the SSL traffic goes well and my users can connect with no problem to the traveler server through https.

I will try now with Windows Mobile devices and I'll be back with an answer.
If possible could you try with an IOS device ( Just for checking )....
I also installed on Windows Mobile 6.5 device. I don't have a IOS device but if I can get one I will let you know if it works or not. Until then you can take a look at this(a video how to install traveler on IOS): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHIJlPOgLtw
Thank you very much for the URL ...
Actually, where I work Iphones and Ipads are widly used .
I solved the problem by making Domino Server the CA.

for the following reason:

I found the solution myself
Was that the only problem you had, that you didn't have the essential SSL-keys?? Do you really think it is fair to the experts that you accept your own answer?

No, that's not what I want. We have a very hard time understanding all questions, reading between the lines, guessing what you know or not know, did or didn't do... We don't have crystal balls, you know. Besides, you never told us what you were aware of, so how could be have known?

Ah, I see, you're new at EE. Your EE profile is empty, except for your age: 13-14... So since it's your first question here, let me explain something: the Experts are ordinary users of the same website as you use, they aren't remunerated in any way for their services, they only help you out because they like to help. If you paid a subscription fee to EE, well, the Experts won't see a penny of it.
