Login to www.mycitrix.com with your account.

Click Downloads
XenApp
Product Software
Click Find

The Various XenApp products appear on the right.

If you do not see these options it is because your MyCitrix account does not give you access to the downloads for XenApp 6.5 or other XenApp products and versions.

You have to have a mycitrix.com account to download the software.

You can create an account for free but in order to download most software your account will need to be associated with a Citrix customer account or partner account.

Unfortunately, Citrix does not make XenApp 6.5 available for evaluation download.

Are you trying to get the XA65 files as an individual or as a Citrix customer who has purchased XenApp licenses?

As an individual you are out of luck.

As a customer, you will need to get Citrix Customer Service to associate your MyCitrix account with your customer account.

Carl WebsterCommented:
Yes, there are evaluation version for both XenApp 5 and XenApp 6.

I just created a new MyCitrix account that has no special privileges.

Login to MyCitrix.com

Follow the images I have in the attached PDF.  If you do not see any of the steps, that means you are blocked.  You will need to contact customer service.

Previously I downloaded the evaluation copy of XenApp 6.5 ( virtual hard disk copy) but it was full functional and was already setup. I am looking for the installation files so I can install by myself.

Thanks

However, I managed to get a evaluation license. I am not sure if this is correct way and will it work

I managed to get a Licence Code from citrix by downloading full featured trial using this link

https://www.citrix.com/products/xenapp/try.html?ntref=trial_center

Then I ask one of my folk who has Citrix account, he logged into Citrix account > My toolbox> Manage Licence> Click Don't see your product> Enter the above license code and then enter host name of the server

By this way I download lic file.

Will this work ?

Thanks for your help

Carl WebsterCommented:
Sure it should.  Only one way to find out and that is to install xa65 and see if it accepts the license.

The SA date expiration errors are not to be concerned with.

What is your Citrix license server name?
From the XenApp server, can you ping that name?
When you installed XA65, did you specify a license server name?
For the Computer Unfiltered policy, set the license server name.

cciedreamerAuthor Commented:
My citrix server name is CITRIXAPP
Yes I can ping the name
Yes I specified the name and tested the connection.
No. I didn't set license server name under computer unfiltered policy.

Hi Carl,
How where can I find an option to set the license server under unfiltered policy.?
Please have little tolerance as this my first citrix installation and trying to learn more.

Do i need to install remote desktop licensing and also do I need to have windows terminal service apart from Citrix License.

Thanking in advance for clarification.
