Microsoft Office 2007 updates won't install
Trying to install 20 updates for Office 2007 and get error # 80070663.
This is on a windows 7 machine. It will handle all windows updates, just not Office 2007.
The forums are very "not helpful" on this one.
We tried turning off antivirus, using Microsoft Security Essentials, turned off firewall, turned off UAC.
We tried installing one at a time. That didn't work.
Tried downloading from a different Microsoft site, but that is 2 years old and the site doesn't connect.
There is one huge registry edit that we haven't tried that lists 50 values to add. Seems awfully drastic.

this was a remote fix situation, Atlanta to Dallas, with an old friend. Due to missing her schedule we never finished this job. She hasn't complained to me any more about it so I'm guessing it's not a significant problem for her. 500 points for your help and patience.
Now download Office Service Packs 1, 2 and 3.
Install Office - Full, not Typical, except for languages you do not need. Do not allow it to run updates.
Now install SP1, restart only if asked. Install SP2, restart only if asked. Install SP3. Restart the computer and now see if it updates.
