problem with wordpress installation

hi,

i have added a wordpress theme and am getting this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_theme() in /content/Hosting/y/o/y

Something's not right with the packaging, then.  Did you upload the zip file or decompress locally and upload the theme folder via FTP?

i just applied latest version of wordpress and it sorted it out
