1.  is there a way to import the pop3 emails to the imap on the desktop?

a. If you have the pst file, add it to Outlook ('File > Data File Management' on Outlook 2007).
b. Assuming you are having the IMAP already configured then just drag and drop the emails you want to import from the new (pop3) pst file and the existing IMAP email folders.
