RDAC (Redundant Disk Array Controller) is a multipath device driver software for LSI E2xxx - E7xxx, IBM DS3000, DS4000, DS5000 and other LSI-based storage systems (HP, Dell, Fujitsu, SDK ...).

It is used to provide load balancing and path redundancy/failover in a fibre channel multipathing environment, between two or more fibre channel adapters per host machine, a SAN fabric (switches) and the above mentioned storage devices.
