We have a single sbs2011 server running exchange with AVG, and we noticed that everything, particulalry our internet service is running slowly. On checking our Firewall logs we noticed that it is reporting a SYN attack, which may explain the speed issues.

I dont know the first thing about this kind of attack, so could anyone please provide a step by step approach on how to deal with this?

Many thanks.
