Retrieve NT Authentication User Info for another user

I know how to gather NT Authentication info from a user logged into an NT domain and visiting a web page authenicating that user via IIS6 and Classic ASP.   Is there a way I can create a form, type in a users name, then retrieve their NT authentication info without that user visiting the authentication web page?  I do not have permissions to access the LDAP server and such, so going down that road is a bust....   Thanks

I'm a little confused on your question, but let me reword what I think you are trying to do:

1) You want to be able to simply search for a user on the domain, who HAS NOT visited your site.

Solution) Unless their user info is stored somewhere (database, Active Directory, etc...), you will not be able to query this information. You could get their information at runtime on your site, but they would still have to visit your site (but they don't necessarily need an account).

Yes, everyone hitting an Intranet site has already joined the domain and logged into the network.   A form to search by logon id would work if I already had the id, but I don't.   So I need to narrow down the search by the only info I have and that is the last name.  Might be problamatic for duplicate names....    Think I need to go in a different direction.  Thanks for the response.
