Exchange 2010 windows backup fail after configure DAG error ID 565

Hi

windows server 2008 R2 with exchange 2010 sp2 rollup 3

i configure DAG and after the configuration the windows backup stopped it gives the error ID 565

The consistency check for the component 'efd9c8aa-53ce-4afc-aaeb-dff6f9d9d20c'\'Microsoft Exchange Server\Microsoft Information Store\MB1' has failed. The application 'Exchange' will not be available in the backup created at '¿2013¿-¿01¿-¿29T21:30:20.853060500Z'. Review the event details for information about consistency check issues.

DAG configured but not yet all the databases has replica configured

Backup configured Full Backup for full Server which contain C drive only has logs and DB backup taking to dedicated usb HDD

any idea how to make the backup working again ?

Hi,

check whether all the databases are healthy status. if db has been suspended backup might fail.

all DBs are healthy and mounted and the DB which has more than one copy the copies either Healthy or mounted
I guess you are taking Active DB backup. If not, do the Active DB backup. Also check

conclusion of that article

“If a server hosting the data being backed up is a member of a database availability group (DAG) and hosts both active and passive database copies, you must disable the Microsoft Exchange Replication service VSS writer. If the Microsoft Exchange Replication service VSS writer is enabled, the backup operation will fail.”

that what am doing right now

but is it logical to keep the replica service disabled to make the backup running ?

i think sure there is permanent solution
Better look for 3rd party backup solution or DPM as windows backup cannot take Passive db backup.

Ok fine i will search on that issue

but i have question

if i run the backup with stopping the replica service , this backup i will be able to restore from in case of crash ?

so if i used the solution of stopping the replica before every backup .. this solution will be ok ?

This solution is not okay, but you dont have other option until get a new backup software.
