Email getting deleted from sent items after 90 days. No policy is in place
I have about 500 users in my company and one user is getting his sent items deleted after 90 days, no explanation. He has 3 emails fr 2011 but all the rest is deleted after 90 days. I looked at all the retention policies and rebuilt his profile. It is still happening. Please help.

It happened again. His sent items are gone again. Not all of them, but now the oldest sent items that he has is from 12/08/2012.
Might look at trying to recreate his outlook profile
Might also look to see if this user is syncing their mailbox with a mobile device such as an Iphone or Ipad

I know that he does sync with iphone and ipad. What is the disable sync and test?
Disable the Sync on the user Ipad and Iphone
Easiest way would be to simply go into settings>Mail, Contacts, and Calendar
Select the exchange account
Turn off all folders being synced
Or you could sumply delete the exchange account

But if I do this, this user is going to stop receiving emails and calendar warnings in his phone and ipad right?
Yesw it will
But you only need to disable long enough to test
If its diasbled, and the sent items are still getting deleted you can re-enable
If its disabled and the sent items no longer get deleted, then you know its the Iphone/Ipad causing the items to be deleted

I did this, but the sent items got deleted again about 2 days ago. It happens on the beginning of the month. Now he just has sent items going back to 01/01/1013.

I found out the problem and it was a user that was deleting his email.
Try Closing outlook and re-opening using
Start>Run>Outlook.exe /cleanrules
This should clear both client and server side rules that may be doing this
*May pay to note details of any current rules before running so they can be recreated
However, it could also be a filter or view
Start>Run>Outlook.exe /cleanviews
This will clear any views or filters hiding them
Id also have a look at the users AutoArchive settings
make sure there are nbo global settings setup or individual folder archive settings that may be archiving them off
