Hello Experts,
Netgear prosafe FVS318n wireless vpn firewall setup.
Wireless devices (my laptop, ipod touch, and ipad) can NOT get out to the internet. They seem to be connecting and getting an IP address in the 169.254.x.x range.
LAN Users can get out to the internet using the firewall gateway address of 192.168.0.1.
How do I get my wireless devices internet access?

It seems that the DHCP server function of your router is not enabled at the moment.  The client devices are getting IPv4 Auto -Configuration IP Addresses (APIPA):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Address_autoconfiguration#Address_autoconfiguration
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=apipa

You'll need to log into the router web configuration page by browsing to http://192.168.0.1 , then go to Advanced > Lan IP setup > check the box 'use router as DHCP server' > Click 'apply' > exit, reboot the router and the clients and you should be good to go.

This worked. At a later date, I will ask another question about separating my wired clients and my wireless clients. Thanks for the help!
