Hello All,

Have 25000 rows of data, pretty huge. Want to apply conditional FORMATTING TO IT. Saw that using VBA is really time consuming and takes a long time to format the total rows in VBA. What the fastest way to alternate format rows of a huge data set.
Thanks

Hi, Rayne.

Depending on your Excel version, convert it into a Table. That has a default of Alternate colouring and it's on the fly!

(Select A1:G35434. On the Ribbon menu bar, select "Insert", "Table" and "OK".)

Edit: If you haven't used the Table functionality before, this is a useful introduction.

Regards,
Brian.
