Moving from SBS 2003 to Windows Server 2012

Hello,
We are moving from a SBS 2003 server to a 2012 Standard one. Should we setup a whole new domain or try to migrate?

General advice is to migrate unless you have very few users and assuming the original server (the source server is in good health)

I do one migration per month at the moment
And a purely personal experience suggests
A migration is best for more than 10 users

If it is your first experience print out a copy of the Microsoft migration guide and follow it to the letter
Preparation of the source server is important
Moving folders including the public should be done (even if you do not use them)

And when the migration is finished
Do not miss the steps to demote and remove the old server (otherwise you are likely to have issues with the server performance)

ASKER

There are only 7 computers and users. Also, this is moving from SBS to vanilla. Do you still recommend this?
If so, is the migration guide easy to find?
