1) you could declare a global variable, by defining it in a Module as Public:

http://www.programmersheaven.com/mb/VBNET/382766/382766/global-variable/

then assign it the value of your sql:

MyVar=your_value_here

and access it from any form using

ModuleName.MyVar


2) Define a public variable on one form, and access it from another form as:

Form1.MyVar
