Just a quick question, what is the industry standard software for use with Windows Server 2008R2 / 2012 to provide a proxy server for users to access the internet?

Thanks.

Squid is one of the best. Not sure if they have now a version for 2012 platform

But why do you want to stick to Windows platform proxy servers. You can run a linux based proxy in line with your Windows servers. Some of the best:

> Squid
> Untangle
> PfSense
