Long File Names

The backup system backed up files on the network drive instead of external drive and created a nest of folder and long name files which cannot be deleted, the error message is attached. I need to get rid of the the folder and long name files.

You have to use the command line interface.

You did not include the error which might be that the files are in use or are somehow marked as system files and can not be deleted.

These are not system files, folder & files created by a backup software, see attchement

While you keep referring to an attachment, it is not part of this thread.
Using command window, try deltree topfolder
Del /f topfolder
Redirect /f topfolder

Didn't work, tried it command line on workstation & Server, same message
