Novell Netware 4.11 Server - Cannot map from workstations to Vol share

I have a client still running an old Novell Netware 4.11 server.  Suddenly they are unable to map their Vol share from any workstation.  I need to get the share back up so they can access their company data on this share.  We will be replacing this server within the next month or two, so I need it functional for a short period of time.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Is the volume mounted?  Check the logs to see if any errors were posted during the last boot process.  You can also use the command VOLUMES on the server console to check if the volume is available or not.

If the volume is not mounted, then try mounting it with the command "MOUNT VOL" .  If it fails to mount, then you'll likely need to run VREPAIR to repair it, then attempt to remount it.  Remember that running VREPAIR is like peeling an onion -- you need to run it over and over again until it returns no errors.
