Determine Drive Types

Using GetDriveType, I can determine all types except "RAM_Disk" (qualifies as "Fixed").

Note: disk manager lists my RAM_Disk under a separate type category 'Dataram RamDisk Devices', and all other Fixed Disks are listed under 'Disk Drives'.

Also is there any way to distinguish an SSD from a spinning drive other than guessing by size?

@sinisav:

Listed near the very bottom of your reference was a link to a [item #4] 'Delphi Wrapper' which looks very interesting and after running the code . . it produces some wonderful, yet very strange results.

So I still have a lot of work ahead of me, but also an excellent direction upon which to embark.

Thanks for your time and expertise.
