Remove Sharepoint Foundation Search from Sharepoint Server without breaking Sharepoint Search

We have a SharePoint farm with Sharepoint Enterprise Search enable, configured and running. There is also SharePoint Foundation installed and running with a WSS_SEARCH Database attached to it.

The question is, do I need that? Can I remove? What is the impact?

Thanks

Yes if you have enterprise search then you dont need foundation search. There is no much impact on the server if it is stopped.
You can go ahead and stop the service from central admin > manage services on server.
