Outlook 2010

My OS is win 7 prof 64 bit and I use Outlook 2010.  Sometimes an email gets into my Junk folder, and if it went there in error, I right click it and send it to the Inbox.  There I usually reply.  When the mesage is displayed for me to reply, I usually want to use a bigger font, but somehow this feature is not available to me.  I cannot click on the Font or change the size, and thus have to use the font and size of the original email.  Why is this so, and how can I overcome this and select my own font and size.
However when I want to send a new email, my stationery default shows up with the fonts that I had seleted to create the stationery.  And I can over ride the default and select another font name or size.
Thank u.

In the message that you want to change the format, click on the Format Text tab and change it to HTML. Once the message is HTML you can change the font, size, colour and so on.
