Avaya IP office 500 and Avaya IP office 406 connectivity over a 2Mb link
I have IP office 500 is running which is connected to the telephone line. Everything is working fine from our head office.
we have a branch in another city. What I need to configure..
we have a 2Mb data link between the head office and the branch office. I want to use this link to have the telephone communication between the branch office and head office. Also branch office staff should be able to make and recieve calls outside our office.
I want to know what programing is required on both end Avaya devices so that the calls can be routed to Branch office.
Head office - Avaya IP 500 Office
Branch office - Avaya IP 406 office
Is there any special protocols needs to be enabled on the 2Mb link such as QoS etc.

QoS may be usefull on the 2mb link, depending on your trunks and phones, you may also require codec cards/licences for each device.

Thanks for your kind advice. I have the licenses for the two devices are there already. I want to know the configuration if the branch office device needs to be connected only through the 2Mb link for all incoming and receiving of call rather than the normal telephone link in the branch office.
Any other comments are highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance...
