hi Everyone

One of our email users got the following error messages. I am attaching a word document
with the entire details.
We are using Exchange 2010 servers in our LAN that sends all emails to a Linux email gateway in our DMZ.

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

madams@bankofguyana.org.gy
A problem occurred during the delivery of this message. Please try to resend the message later.

We need to know if the messages got delivered and what troubleshooting can be done to prevent this error.

Is that all the NDR says? There should be additional text in the NDR. If you have included it in the attachment, then post it in the clear - I am not opening a Word document from an unknown source.

thanks but our email gateway all is does is to relay the email it is not a smarthost per say

Doesn't really matter what it does (or not). If it is set as a smart host in Exchange (so Exchange is delivering email to the server) then that is where you have to look as the cause of the prblem.

hi

I would like to mention that we just migrated to Exchange 2010 from Exchange 2003.
We were sending all email to our linux gateway using routing group -> connector -> Smtp in Exchange 2003. We remove this connector from Exchange 2003 to send external email.
and Created under Organization Configuration -> Hub transport -> Send Connectors
Now we are getting error when some users are sending us emails or when some of our users are sending emails.
For exampled I have another example below. User trying to send us emails
