cannot prepare calendar sharing message in outlook

I'm trying to make a sharing request to see another employee's calendar, but Outlook fails when preparing the sharing request. I go to Calendar and then select Open Calendar from address book and then I just see "busy", I click on that and then intiate a sharing request and I ge this error:

  microsoft outloook

error while preparing to send sharing message.

What is the version of outlook?

Check the below link if you are using Outlook 2010
