Exchange 2010 removal DiscoverySearchMailbox

Replacing SBS 2003 with Server 2012/Exchange 2010.
Plan was to install exchange 2010 on server 2012  - move mailboxes from sbs 2003 to exchange 2010.  Give server 2012 all domain roles and remove sbs 2003 from domain.

Server 2012 is installed and setup as a DC installed exchange 2010 on server and after install MMC would crash No info showed up.  Wanted to remove and reinstall Exchange.  Disabled the Arbitration mailboxes.
Tried to remove DiscoverySearchMailbox (get-mailbox -Identity *discovery* | Remove-Mailbox) and I get the following error message:

Active Directory operation failed on )insert FQDN of sbs2003 server).  This error is not retriable. Additional information: Access is denied.

Just to let you know Exchange 2010 isnt yet supported on Windows 2012.

Did you try "get-mailbox -Identity *discovery* | Disable-Mailbox" ??
What account are you logged in with ? What rights does this account has in AD ?
