Is it possible to limit the number of times a record is updated.

Of course i know how to stop it being updated once it exists but i want to fix the updates to say 2 (the original entry and 1 change)

The records are updated in a form text box.

Thanks

I am a natural sceptic!

Anyone can make a mistake and have to change a record, if someone changes the same record twice i would be suspicious of their reasons so i want to prevent it happening.

i'll suggest to use Audit or time stamping of records changed or deleted
