Hello,
I am a complete novice to WINSQL and MYSQL. I have created a database using MYSQL and now I want to connect to this via WINSQL - however I am not sure how to do this. When I click on ODBC manager it shows user data sources of DBASE files, EXCEL & ACCESS but no reference to MYSQL.  When I click on Drivers I can see that I have WinSQL  Wire protocol driver installed. However I am being asked for Data source, Host name, port and dbname. The database and WINSQL are both on the same PC. If anyone can give me simple directions about how to set up a connection I would be very grateful.

MYSQL workbench 5.2
WINSQL trial edition 9.0.107.624
Windows 7

regards
Pat

WinSQL appears to be for Microsoft SQL Servers, not MySQL.  They are two different database servers.  I don't think that will work for you.
