Hello Experts,

I am a newbie to the Content Query Webpart.  I have used it before, but have a specific question.

In SharePoint 2007, How can I add a CQWP to a specific "View" from a document library on a diffent site?

I was able to browse to the library and display conent but I want it to show a specific view which does filtering, sorting, etc.

Thanks!

You cant target views. The best you can do is manipulate the columns you display and change your display criteria to match any filtering you have in the view. This may not give you the exact results you're after, but like I say you're stuck with not being able to display views with CQWP.

The help I can give is that I did a lot of work with CQWP in SP 2007, and wrote up how to change the columns they show etc. The articles are here;
