This is the best category I could think of for the question. My apologizes.

Im trying to replace my jack on my two axle car hauler. the new jack is top wind with 3 screw and nuts o secure it to the tongue. it has a removable shoe on the bottom.  The old jack is top wind with 3 screws and nuts but the shoe is welded on. I don't know a way to get his off unless I saws all it and raise it up and out. Is this true? I'll try to upload 3 pictures of it.

Thank you

"the shoe is welded on"
Yes, you will need to remove the shoe to remove and replace the jack.
Use an "angle grinder" grind down the weld and break off the shoe with a hammer.
This should be easier than cutting it off.

They welded a plate on the bottom to stop it from filling with dirt.
New jacks have a removable shoe.
