Hi,

I'm developing an app that may be used by around 1,000 users.

If I'm using a .net web service over https to avoid firewall issues, is it possible to push new data to the clients to reduce load on the servers?

If not, is there any way to establish a connection over https (or similar) that is guaranteed to avoid firewall issues while allowing push notifications?

Thanks
Dan
