Bad solution: forward tcp port 3389 from your router to your server
Better solution: forward tcp port 443 and work with the build in SBS site
Best solution: forward tcp 1723 and gre protocol (with linksys not needed) and setup the VPN connection via the wizard.
Even better: look for an external VPN box with sslvpn, openvpn, l2tp VPN or pptp VPN support to replace your current firewall/router

My apologies...  The second link was incorrect.  Check out http://blog.concurrency.com/infrastructure/rds8-gateway-and-certificates-on-windows-server-2012/ (both this link and the 2nd link in my original reply are available via the 1st link in my original reply).  This covers WAN access (using a gateway and SSL).

To LordPan RDP over VPN is not always as optimal given a PPTP connection will open up the entire local LAN such that the security against virus will be based on the weakest system external to and is not controlled by IT.

An IPSEC/direct only to the RDP server or use of two factor authentication to the RDP server might be an alternative if sought.
